I recently purchased an American DJ M-101 Heavy Duty Mirror Ball Motor. It is definitely worth the price. It is lightweight and operates very smoothly. I had previously purchased a less expensive mirror ball motor from another manufacturer and it was jittery and noisy. This one rocks and it is definitely worth the extra money. It operates at a nice 1rpm, so it will help prevent your guests/friends from getting nauseated. It also includes an "easy on" locking clip to hold your mirror ball securely. Highly recommended!

So I wanted the best clamps, and decided on these "Heavy Duty" ones. They are crazy strong and heavy... you may not need something this tough. I bet most everyone can get away with using the lighter duty clamps by Chauvet. Although, I'm very happy with them, you might be able to save money with the cheaper ones. You can also just buy bolts with wing nuts at your local Hardware store and use these with the same outcome.



There's no messing around with these clamps, they can probably hold a hundred pounds.
