Not much to say, it does one thing... shines a light. What I did find though is the 6 degree lens was very important. With that, I was able to move the light about 6 feet from my mirror ball and eluminate it just right. Using the wider lense I had to be within about 4 feet. It was nice to have options, which allowed me to find just the right placement. I still think it is not really worth it's price tag, however, that doesnt mean it isnt one of the best options out there. Would have been nice, for the price, if it were DMX controllable.

This little light is POWERFUL! Amazingly BRIGHT! Much nicer than I ever expected it to be. Produces very little heat. Sleek design. I use it to spotlight a piece of artwork and it does the job beautifully! (It's about as round as a can of Pringles Chips and a little shorter.)

This is a great pinspot for your mirror ball. It is small and bright and comes with two lenses, a 6 & 12 degree lens. The 12 degree is perfect for a mirror ball unless it is more than 20' away, then you might want to use the 6 degree lens for a tighter beam. This will make smaller brighter dots from your mirror ball than the older spotlight with a regular bulb. The dots are small and clear, not large with a black spot in the middle since you are not using a bulb. This keeps a tight circle so it can even be used as a follow spot in a small room up to 50' away, such as shining it on a person speaking or doing an act. There is not an on/off switch, just a 3 prong cord about 4' long. The bracket is nice and holds it quite well. This is a nice bright light in a small package, good buy!

It's a tiny sub 30 dollar strobe and that's about it. For it's size the strobe is pretty powerful, but it doesn't have the room filling power of it's bigger brothers. We received our item about two weeks ago and have been surprisingly pleased with it. It operates on one 'D' battery, which is visible between the upper and lower segments, as the items appears in pictures. On the bottom there's a ring like on a keychain for you to use as the attachment point for your mirror ball. Only the ring on the bottom (and whatever is attached to it) actually rotate.



Mounting it was a small challenge for us, but only because we wanted to attach it to the bottom of a ceiling fan light kit. We accomplished that with several more rings from old keychains.



I bought a package of 8 'D' batteries, thinking the motor might burn through them quickly. But even after leaving the motor on overnight accidentally, the thing is still turning. And we're still on the original 'D' battery.
