This strobe its very powerfull, its big and it only weight like 2 pounds, the only problem with this product that it doesnt have a sound combination, the flashligth is always the same rythm, you can change the time of the rythm but you cannot combine the flash rythm with the music rythm, like others!!

this product works well, doing three simple tasks, but is impossible to mount in a rack due to it's weird half unit size and the fact that it doesn't have standard rack measurements or drilled holes to mount it properly. my suggestion would be to buy a full sized rack unit that installs properly.

This strobe is HUGE!!! It responds well to the music but there is a delay so it's not very easy to notice. I'm happy with it simply because the sound response mode makes the flashing look random. I would've given it 5 stars had it not been for the delay.

I searched all over for a 70+ watt strobe, even craigslist, couldn't find anything decent for under $70. This thing works great, very bright, easy controls, well packaged. My only gripes are the unit size (freakin huge) and the sound activation is very impact/bass sensitive. My scream track blasting from a speaker very close couldn't consistently trigger it, so i bought a $10 remote control outlet, which worked fine. Nothing else has sound activation for under $100 , so at this price, I really can't complain too much. Also, I ordered two of these, and one came with a broken bulb. But amazon's return process was easy, and I had a refund within 4 days of mailing it.

This strobe light is the real deal. I don't know if you could really get any more strobey than this bad boy. Its super bright, so bright that I shine it against the wall to get the effect. The sync with the sound is pretty nice, but I like the manual tuning better, its easier to make the strobe go at the frequency that creates the robot-motion effect or the other effects that occur at specific frequencies. Its pretty big, and pretty sweet. I don't know what else to say, I give this one 5 stars its very cool to have at a party.

I'm a college student and I was looking for something to spice up parties in my dorm room. Imagine my delight when I found this professional strobe light and saw that it wasn't all that expensive.



The other reviews have described how this IS a professional product and therefore isn't for all situations. I would definitely agree with that, because often we had to point the light at a wall or keep it under a bed because it was so bright. However, it certainly made parties a lot more exciting.



The audio-sync mode isn't terrific. I tried it the first few times with a bunch of pop songs and it was hit or miss.

There is an input on the back of the device that would probably make the syncing a lot more accurate, but for my needs, it's not a huge deal.



PROS:

Cheap, Professional, Useable in tons of situations, Has audio-sync mode so the light blinks to the beat.



CONS:

Too powerful for most non-professional uses (so put it under furniture or under a blanket!), audio-syncing is spotty.



SUMMARY:

If you're looking for a great strobe light, get this, but keep in mind it might be too powerful for you and you'll have to figure out how to dampen it somehow.

Last Halloween, I purchased and mounted the Chauvet Techno Strobe above my garage door after having researched many strobe lights on the market.



I wanted one that was bright, relatively inexpensive and had a built-in mic with adjustable speed. This model certainly fit the bill. With the built-in mic, I got what I wanted, which was a random flash, and not a steady tempo flash. This gave more of a lightning effect which is what I wanted to go along with the haunted "slaughter room" we had constructed in the garage.



Being a former mobile DJ, I have send and worked with my share of strobe lights. This strobe is a keeper. Highly recommended!

This item was perfect! Arrived 3 days early! The light bulbs have not blown yet. The brightness is more than enough to shine my basement. Unlike other strobe lights, these do not need to be turned off every 15 mins. Why spend 20+ dollars on one strobe light when you can have TWO for twice as less.

The flash produced by this device was pretty dim. Could barely be seen in a lighted room. Though, it is a "mini" strobe light. Perhaps it wasn't really meant for very bright flashes.



Additionally, after only 4 days of use, it ceased to function correctly. It would only blink a couple times a minute.

I bought two of these strobe lights for my dj' set up and they were good except for when they came there was something that wasn't described on the purchase page. the bulbs inside these small strobes are irreplaceable. other then that one thing these are great! they came in fast to! and also i sent them back because of the information not being described as it should be it doesn't say anything about the bulbs being irreplaceable. i would recommend buying this product if your gonna use them a small amount of time, but if you plan on using them a lot i would recommend putting a little more money forward to pay to have a strobe with a replaceable bulb.

You can't find a better deal for these strobes than here. Fast Shipping, Excellent Packaging, Excellent Product. Easy to mount. Easy to replace the internal fuse if necessary. Nice, bright attention getting flash. The only thing missing is a power switch, but that's easily rectified with a DIY cord switch. The switch was expensive. Just unplug it.
